    Default help with connection

    Hi all,

    I woud like to use SQL drill but i dont know how to set up Oracle connection. What is connection string and where I can find it? I was looking in tns names but it's not string what I need. Please help me .

    How are you ? I apologise for the delay. I somehow missed this post.. Just saw it there.

    Please let me know if you are still have an issue setting up the connection.

    You can search on ConnectionStrings.com - Forgot that connection string? Get it here! for the string and then adapt it for your database..

    Please let me know. Again really sorry for taking ages to get back.

    Please can you take a look at this page
    SQL Drill Excel database Add-In
    Basic thing is to install the MYSQL connector and then use this to setup the connection.
    On the remote server, you also need to make sure you are permissioned to connect to the database from your local machine (often this permission needs to be added explicitly)

    Also, FYI, I removed the links you had posted. At the moment, links are not allowed here as it creates a lot of extra work maintaining them (some people post extreme links...). Sorry for that but it is the best way to keep the site clean at this point.
